Photographer · DIYer · Woodworker
I shoot what I make, document what I build, and share the process — sawdust, mistakes, and all.
I'm a hobbyist woodworker, DIYer, and photographer based out of my garage sized workshop. I got into woodworking and DIY helping my dad around the house and taking high school woodshop. 20+ years later I'm still at it, still making mistakes, and still learning something new every time I pick up a hand plane.
A camera came along as a way to document builds in progress and sometimes to get feedback when I was struggling. It turns out photographing wood grain and tool marks is its own kind of obsession. This site is where the two hobbies meet: a place to share what I'm making, how I'm making it, and what the shop actually looks like day-to-day...along with any other images I happen to capture in life along the way.
Everything here is a hobby — I'm not a professional, and I think that's kind of the point.
